As we near the end of January, we want to continue focusing on those new year resolutions you’ve made this month. If one of them was improving at a hobby like cooking, this freebie could be great for you. Williams Sonoma offers periodic FREE Technique Classes and one is coming up this weekend.
Williams Sonoma offers these FREE technique tips to inspire its guests to learn fresh new menu ideas by teaching healthy recipes for family dinners using both classic and contemporary cooking techniques. No two classes are exactly the same, but they all are dedicated to a specific culinary topic. One class might be about a cookware, another about tools, and a third about the optimal way to handle seasonal produce.
Besides the fact that these classes at Williams Sonoma are FREE and useful, there are a couple other incentives to attend. You will receive complimentary tastings of the delicious prepared dishes on display. Plus, participating will net you a 10% savings on certain same-day store purchases if you hang around after the one-hour class.
Williams Sonoma has only released the schedule through January, with the last course scheduled for Sunday, January 27. This course is entitled Flavors of Morocco. If you attend, you can learn about the sweet, sour, and spicy Moroccan flavors. You’ll leave with a better understanding of how to use spices like harissa and ras el hanout. Just be aware that class sizes are limited and that you’ll need to call your local store to register. We aren’t sure if this class is still available, but calling could also give you an idea of other FREE classes coming up in February.
The Indianapolis Williams Sonoma location is in the mall at Keystone at the Crossing. The phone number is 317-848-1431.
