Well, we’ve reached Tax Day 2014. You probably spotted our post last week about upcoming Tax Day specials and deals from businesses. Since that posting, we’ve had a couple more additions to the list, so we recommend you check it one more time before you go on with the rest of your day. We hope that Tax Day has been relatively kind to you and that these deals make it better.
Arby’s – Arby’s always offers some kind of discount on Tax Day. Like last year, the 2014 coupon is for FREE curly fries. You do need a coupon — click the word Arby’s to get yours.
Boston Market – Considering Boston is known for protesting taxes from Britain with a certain tea party, it’s kind of appropriate that Boston Market has a Tax Day deal of its own. They are offering a two for $10.40 (Get it? 1040?) Half-Chicken meal for Tuesday, April 15. Each meal comes with a half-rotisserie chicken, two sides, and cornbread. You won’t need a coupon to enjoy this meal on the cheap that would even fill up Paul Revere’s stomach.
Game Paradise – Our link take syou back to that post about the opportunity to invest your tax refund in an annual membership. As a brief synopsis, buying in before Tuesday, April 15 means the price is $25 cheaper.
Tax Day can leave a bitter taste in your mouth, but not with this freebie from Great American Cookies. The cookie shop wants to sweeten your day with one of its regular chocolate chip cookies for FREE on Tuesday, April 15, at participating locations. No coupon necessary — just your sweet tooth. The offer is limited to one per customer. For locations, click here.
Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt – This deal does require a coupon, but our link leads straight to the Orange Leaf Facebook page where you can grab yours. You can fill your cup with fro-yo for only $4.15 (again with the number association), which is essentially half-price.
Office Depot – Stepping away from the food, Office Depot can help with all the extra paperwork you dig through trying to find the relevant information for this year. If you realize you have more paper than you need, you can shred up to five pounds of documents for FREE. On a fun side-note, you have a little extra time to take advantage of this deal. The offer is available through Tuesday, April 29.
Perkins – Members of MyPerkins have been receiving coupons that can be used to buy one entree and two beverages at regular price and receive a second entree for FREE on Tax Day. We can’t promise that they will still be giving out those coupons today if you sign up, but if not you’ll at least receive 20% off your next order just for signing up.
Sonic Drive-In is cutting its drink prices in half on Tax Day. On Tuesday, April 15, you can get 50% off all drinks, teas and slushes. There’s no limit, so you and all of your little “deductibles” can quench their thirst without breaking the bank. (The offer does not include any ice cream-based treats, including shakes.)
Tilt Studio – The arcade on the top floor at Circle Centre Mall also has a Tax Day special today. Stop by and you can enjoy unlimited video games for only $10 today.
HostGator is offering 50% off all web hosting packages and select domain names until 11:59 pm Central time tonight. (Which is 12:59 am for central Indiana Hoosiers.) Go to www.techforluddites.com/hostgator and use promo code TAX2014 to take advantage of this great deal.
