Veteran Cheapsters who have been reading our posts for a long enough period know how these Whole Foods sales work. Whole Foods Market is a specialty grocery store that only accepts high quality products. The more natural and organic the better for Whole Foods— and then they top it off with one-day sales on certain products periodically.
This week is no exception, as Whole Foods is offering a one day sale on grass-fed ground beef. Just for Friday, September 13, this beef is only $4.99 per pound. This price means you’re saving approximately $2 per pound (or over 30% off). Like all beef sold at Whole Foods Market, this grass-fed ground beef comes from 5-Step Animal Welfare rated farms, meaning you can count on it being high quality. Grass-fed ground beef comes from cattle raised on pasture their entire lives, and the meat is typically a leaner alternative to grain-fed beef.
The nice thing about ground beef is that it is so versatile and can be used in so many different recipes. It’s a product all of our Cheapsters (other than the vegetarians, who definitely will find other items up their alley at Whole Foods) can use, and buying it on the cheap makes it all that much better.
