Shopping on the cheap for your kids’ clothes can seem challenging on the surface if you want to buy name brands like Gap, Gymboree, Children’s Place, Polo Ralph Lauren, and others. Even when big department stores offer discounts, you’re still paying quite a bit for clothes that children will outgrow quickly.
Don’t be too frustrated, however, as there is a way to still buy those brands you love without having to give up the shirt on your own back. From Thursday, September 12 through Saturday, September 14, you can head to the Agriculture Horticulture Building at the Indiana State Fairgrounds for the Whale of a Sale kids consignment event.
This is an opportunity to shop for your children while enjoying some substantial discounts. You can be confident in finding clothing from newborn size all the way up to size 12. Plus, you can shop for other items while there (i.e. toys, furniture, adult clothes, etc.). This particular kids consignment sale will still have all those brand names you’re familiar with, but without all the brand markups on price.
You can shop at the kids consignment on Thursday (9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.), Friday (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), and Saturday (9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.). If you follow our above link to the Whale of a Sale website, don’t be alarmed by the front page mentioning “sold out” all over the place. It is referring to a pre-sale the night before. You can still shop Thursday through Saturday, and attending the sale is FREE.
