I’m so glad I picked Saturday to head out to the State Fair — I traded in my admission ticket at the Hoosier Lottery stand for a free scratch-off and won $10 30 seconds later. Not to mention I had front row seats in front of the stage for the FREE Lauren Alaina concert—and now 215 photos in my iPhoto files to prove it.
The State Fair continues until Sunday, August 18, and so do the savings. As a quick reminder, here are your daily savings to expect — and they are every bit as awesome as my experience.
Monday, August 12: Visit the IPL Power website and download an IPL Carload Day voucher. If you bring that with you on Monday, a group of up to 10 people can enter the State Fair for just $15 total.
Tuesday, August 13: You can take advantage of $2 Tuesday by visiting the Turkey Hill Dairy website. There, you can find a voucher that will allow you to enter the State Fair for only $2. In addition, Tuesday means $2 food specials and $2 midway rides. Finally, seniors at least 55 years old can ride shuttles around the fairgrounds for FREE all day.
Wednesday, August 14: Visit the BMV website and print off a voucher. The voucher means your admission is only $5.
Thursday, August 15: Bring your valid AAA membership card and you’ll receive FREE admission on Thursday.
Friday, August 16: This day won’t affect your admission price, but the concessionaires will be offering one item each at half price for Foodie Friday.
Sunday, August 18: The last day of the State Fair is Pepsi Day. Bring any Pepsi brand can and you’ll receive $2 off your admission.
Don’t forget there is a FREE shuttle that picks up at the Glendale mall, running every 20 minutes or so. And thanks to Deal Scout Lorraine for reminding us of these discounts!
