If the first holiday everyone thinks about in November is Thanksgiving, Veteran’s Day is an obvious second. Monday November 12 is an important day this year to recognize those who defended our country and kept all of us safe, those that are still fighting to protect our freedoms here and abroad, and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice by laying down their lives for our country.
While these two gestures are very small on our part compared to what these veterans have done for us, we want to first extend our thanks and gratitude to our veterans, and second offer a rundown on places that will offer you a discount of some sort on Veteran’s Day this year. Please keep in mind that while some establishments will offer you the discounts and deals on the honor system, others may need to see your military identification for proof of service. Also, keep an eye out for Part Two of this rundown next week.
