You can always hear your mother’s voice in your head, telling you that anyone who can read can cook. All you have to do is follow the recipe. While that may be right in theory, it doesn’t always prove that simple. You may buy all the culinary specialist’s equipment at Williams Sonoma, but that doesn’t mean that you truly understand what it looks like to “whisk vigorously for three minutes.” Plus, it never hurts to learn a few new recipes to complement your “reading” in the kitchen.
For that reason, we encourage you to consider one of the upcoming cooking classes at Williams Sonoma. Williams Sonoma has a store located at Keystone at the Crossing Mall (8702 Keystone Crossing Boulevard). Williams Sonoma is hosting seven more cooking classes over the next couple of summer months. They range in price from $45 to $75 per person depending on whether you receive a book along with the lesson. All of the cooking lessons last from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and class spaces are sold on a first come, first serve basis.
To sign up for any of these classes, call Williams Sonoma at (317) 848-1431 or just come in to the store. Also, if you have to cancel one of the classes you have signed up for, you can receive a complete refund or transfer the fee into another class as long as you call Williams Sonoma at least 48 hours before the class you need to cancel. Here are the upcoming classes:
- Tuesday May 21: Bread Making ($45)
- Tuesday June 4: Host a Tapas Party ($45)
- Wednesday June 12: Bobby Flay’s Barbecue Addiction ($75)
- Tuesday June 18: Food Made Fast: Salad ($45)
- Tuesday July 9: California Cuisine Tonight ($45)
- Wednesday July 10: Paris to Provence ($75)
- Tuesday July 23: Farm-to-Table Supper ($45)
