While many stores offered Labor Day sales, we wouldn’t have blamed you for deciding to wait for later to go shopping. With the mix of hot and humid with storms, the Labor Day weekend wasn’t the best weekend to be out and about. The weather for this weekend looks to be (so far, at least) more suited to going out and finding sales. If you’re looking for a starting point this weekend, we can provide two – Carmel City Center and More Than a Boutique.
Carmel City Center has held more than one sidewalk sale in the past several months, and for them summer isn’t over yet. Many of the Carmel City Center businesses will be hosting sidewalk sales on Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8. Some will feature designer trunk shows, many will have special promotions, and you can count on finding plenty of sales. The sidewalk sales will take place during normal store hours. South of Carmel and the other sales, More Than a Boutique is located at 808 Fort Wayne Avenue (north of Mass Ave) in Downtown Indy. For them, summer is coming to an end. For that reason, their sales are for the end of summer that starts today and lasts through Friday, September 13. All summer items will be 50% off, and these were already thrifty prices at the beginning. Some items will be on sale for as low as $1, and you shouldn’t have to pay more than $20 for any item.
