Joe’s and Macaroni have your back this time of year.
Restaurants everywhere usually offer bounce back deals with gift cards around the holidays. If you were reading our posts back in December, you probably remember long lists detailing which restaurants were offering particularly special rates of return on gift card buys. Our goal was to let you know if Company A was giving you back $10 for every $50 you spent on gift cards.
While the holidays remain the heaviest time for those sorts of deals, we’ve become aware of two restaurants offering similar deals right now. With plenty of graduation parties and both Mothers and Fathers Day coming up, restaurants recognize that gift cards are a hot commodity right now. The two particular restaurants in question right now are Joe’s Crab Shack and Macaroni Grill.
Between now and June 16, you will receive $5 back for every $25 purchased in gift cards from either restaurant (Joe’s is calling it $5 Bonus Bucks while Macaroni is calling it a $5 Grazie Gift). In either case, you can redeem these $5 bounce backs on food, non-alcoholic beverages, and retail merchandise any time between June 17 and July 23. In the meantime, this is a great time of year to purchase gift cards. When restaurants compete on bounce back rewards, you win.
