Two shopping events off the beaten path this weekend.
We know that Black Friday awaits us at the end of next week. The deals will be heavy then, and you know we will be keeping you up to date as we approach the big day. However, even dedicated shoppers who take part in Black Friday every year can enjoy shopping around the holidays at some places more off the beaten path. Before Black Friday arrives, we want to let you know about a holiday preview this weekend in the form of two shopping opportunities.
If you want to hit both of the holiday preview sites, we recommend you start with the Ben Davis Holiday Craft Fair. This holiday preview lasts from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, and will feature plenty of local vendors. You will find everything there from jewelry to home decor, and plenty in between. If you can’t find items you’re interested in here, you aren’t looking hard enough.
After you’ve finished shopping at Ben Davis High School, you are invited to the majestic Ballroom at the German American Klub on the southside. The Holiday Extravaganza takes place from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, and will features at least 15 vendors. Expect to find Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, Vintage Plate Art, Shaklee, and more at this fun event. Between the two holiday previews, this weekend will be the perfect prelude to the week of Thanksgiving.
