If you haven’t heard of Traders Point Creamery yet, it is a family-owned organic dairy farm located up in Zionsville (9101 Moore Road, to be exact). It all began in 2003 with 150 acres of land and a small dairy operation.
Today, it is still gaining fans as it is the first USDA-certified organic dairy farm in Indiana. Their milking herd has grown to nearly 60 cows, and they manage over 400 acres of pastureland. If you’re a fan of organic, you’ll love the fact that there are no synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, antibiotics, or growth hormones to be found at Traders Point Creamery. They are dedicated to providing as pure a product as possible.
If you’re looking for an opportune time to drive up and check out Traders Point Creamery for yourself, we recommend you choose a Monday. That’s because each Monday is known as MOOla Monday at Traders Point Creamery. What this means is big sales on all the overstock dairy products at the Farm Store. These items of the week are heavily discounted, some even as much as 80% off.
Whether you have a particular product in mind or just want to check out what will be available before you come, we encourage you to check out the Traders Point Creamery Facebook page. You can watch for MOOla Monday announcements, as well as any other news. For example, you would have found out that the last of the Farm Store’s eggnog sold as part of the first MOOla Monday of 2013. Luckily for you, plenty of Mondays are still to come this year at Traders Point Creamery.
