We’ve written about Game Paradise before, but they are unique enough that it bears repeating. While you can shop for gaming accessories and cards at Game Paradise, the main point of this Fountain Square shop is that it is a board game library where you can bring your friends and family and pay a small admission fee in order to play as many of the board games they have available. They boast over 1300 board games in their repertoire, and are adding to that number all the time.
If you have kids that like playing board games, Game Paradise is a particularly great deal on Tuesday nights. Tuesday nights are family nights, and kids aged 15 and under play for FREE with a paying adult on Tuesday nights. They recently raised the age on this freebie, as it used to be only available for kids aged 12 and under. Considering the hourly rate per person without a monthly or annual pass is $5 per hour up to a daily maximum of $12.50, kids playing for FREE is a great deal.
The other recent development with our friends at Game Paradise is that they began a recurring monthly membership. Memberships are $10 cheaper each month, and Cheapsters don’t have to stress about renewing their memberships every month.
So, if there’s a board game you’ve wanted to try out or a beloved game you don’t own, take the family with you to Game Paradise tonight and on Tuesday evenings going forward to take advantage of family nights. Game Paradise is located at 1110 E. Prospect Street.
