File this one under breaking news, as this post only matters for the next few hours. Hard Rock Cafe is hosting the cast of the music Flashdance today (Thursday, October 3) at noon. If you plan on having your lunch at Hard Rock Cafe today, you’ll be in for a real treat as you enjoy a FREE performance from the cast in the restaurant. The event is for all ages, and will even feature a ticket giveaway for some lucky guests to see the full show.
Flashdance was a 1983 movie starring Jennifer Beals as a steel mill welder in Pittsburgh who dreams of becoming a professional dancer. While the plot itself appealed to audiences, the most famous part of Flashdance was the music that accompanied it. For that reason, Flashdance easily transitioned to the musical that tours today. Flashdance the Musical is coming to Clowes Memorial Hall, but the cast is also making the stop at Hard Rock to provide its FREE performance.
