In this time of sentimentality and thankfulness, it’s a perfect day to give something back to the community. The Indianapolis Repertory Theatre is embracing the opportunity to do just that, partnering with St. Vincent Health and the Indiana Blood Center to host a day devoted to the Spirit of Giving.
From 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. today (Monday, November 12), you are cordially invited to join them and give in any way you can. In the Grand Lobby, you can visit one of the stations and donate blood. Also, St. Vincent will have a Giving Tree set up where you can donate a toy. These toys will go to children at the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital. You can help in either way, or both.
In the meantime, every donor will have a chance to experience the backstage of the Theatre’s holiday favorite The Christmas Carol. You can also tour the set of The House That Jack Built on the Upperstage, and you can purchase two tickets for the price of one to any November performance of either show. If you’re reflecting on all the things you’re thankful for this time of year and wondering how you can give back to those less fortunate, this is a wonderful opportunity.
