It may be surprising to you that the most requested item at homeless shelters from the 1.7 million teens is a pair of jeans. That’s why Aeropostale created a program called Teens for Jeans. Besides the warm and fuzzy feeling you’ll have knowing you helped out those less fortunate than you, Aeropostale offers some additional perks to entice you to help.
The process for helping comes in three steps. First, you sign up to run a drive at your school (though you can also donate individually). Second, you run your drive. If you spread the word around your school and community, you could have quite a turn out. Third, you drop the donated jeans off at your closest Aeropostale store by Sunday, February 10. For each donated pair of jeans, you can take 25% off a new pair you buy at Aeropostale.
You can simply drop off your own donations, but running your own drive puts you in the running for a $2000 scholarship. Click the link to sign up, and you can make the winter seem much warmer to a homeless teen out there with help from Aeropostale.
