This winter has been rough on everyone, but almost nobody has had it harder than teachers. It seems like we can’t have a full week of school, and teachers are left wondering every weekend whether that snow in the forecast will lead to a day off or just a two-hour delay in which they must shuffle their curriculum. We feel for teachers, who must feel like this has been the semester from the Twilight Zone.
If this describes you or a teacher you know, we know of a way to decompress for a little while and enjoy a relaxing evening for just $5. Teachers are invited to the Indianapolis Children’s Museum on Thursday, February 20. From 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., you are welcome to join with fellow teachers to enjoy coffee and dessert. All the while, you can interact with a nationally recognized speaker in David Wolf. Wolf is not only an Indiana native, but also a retired astronaut.
If you attend, you won’t just be sharing a calm and professional evening with an interesting speaker–you’ll also be learning how to share the topics he brings in your classroom. You know, once the classroom settles back into a more predictable routine.

It’s THURSDAY FEB 20 and not Wednesday Feb 20.

Thank you for the catch. We will make that change immediately.
