Allow us to educate our educators on where to find back-to-school discounts.
As we’ve said before, it’s amazing how fast everyone is going back to school. Taking the balanced calendar into account, districts like Warren are already back to school despite the fact that it is still July.
While we’re all going to adjust to this new calendar eventually, we still find it mind-blowing for now. Parents and students can find back-to-school deals all over town at multiple stores (notebooks for a quarter, anyone?), but not every store has an offer quite like Walmart’s.
Walmart, ever the superhero of capitalism, is giving teachers 10% back on their classroom supply purchases this week through Thursday, July 31. If you teach kindergarten through 12th grade, you can enjoy this extra discount on already-low prices. The deal is for in-store only, unfortunately, so you’ll have to work through the crowds of back-to-school shoppers, but we believe the discount is worth the traffic this week.
Whenever your time comes to return to school, we hope you get off to a great start this year. With supplies from Walmart and other stores around town, you can at least put your best foot forward as we transition from summer break to the fall.
