The title defense has officially begun…
The Indiana Pacers are in a tough playoff series with the Miami Heat. Our city is focused intently on them, hoping to see us reach the NBA Finals for the first time since 2000. Obviously, the Pacers are in the Indianapolis sports spotlight. However, the Indiana Fever are also about to step into that spotlight.
While the Pacers are giving it their all to win a championship, the Indiana Fever won the WNBA Championship last year, and are now about to begin their title defense. While they kick off the regular season at San Antonio tonight, the home opener is coming up at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31. The game will be against the Atlanta Dream, and there will be plenty to see at this game. The Indiana Fever have a Championship Celebration and a Ring Ceremony planned. If you come to support our Indiana Fever that night, you too will leave with a ring. Every fan in attendance will receive a replica championship ring (courtesy of Kroger).
