Fountain Square is a historic part of Indianapolis that has been making a return in the past couple years and is becoming quite popular again. One big reason for this popularity is the events that take place in the Fountain Square Theatre Building and at the End of the Line Public House. For example, tonight you have the opportunity to take part in the Friday Night Swing Dance lessons taking place at the Theatre on October 26. Lessons are from 7:30 p.m. 8:30 p.m. rom 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., you can enjoy live entertainment from Terry Lee & the Rockaboogie Band. Admission costs $12 at 7:30 p.m. for the lessons or $10 at 8:30 p.m. for the entertainment.
And if swing dancing isn’t your thing but you’d still like to see the nightlife of Fountain Square, stop by the End of the Line Public House and enjoy the Fountain Square Brewing Tap Takeover during lunch or dinner. Between now and Saturday, October 27, you will have access to five beers from FSB on tap. You can also order from a special 2 for $30 menu that includes appetizer, your choice of two pizza or sandwich entrees, two flights of the five FSB beers (or substitute a pint or dessert). You can also opt for the $17.50 single with appetizer, pizza or sandwich, and FSB flight.
Whatever your fancy, Fountain Square is evolving to meet it. This historic area will prove to be quite festive Friday night, and we hope to see you there.
