We know, we’re starting the holiday season a bit early. You’ve just finished taking the Halloween decorations out of your yard and we’re already discussing Christmas. Well, we’ll try to focus on Thanksgiving for the most part this month, but some of our Cheapsters who are averse to procrastination could be starting their Christmas shopping early. If you agree with this line of thinking, we’ll point you in the direction of the 65th annual Christmas Gift & Hobby Show.
From Wednesday November 5 through Sunday November 9, you’re invited to score deals with more than 350 exhibitors at the West Pavilion of the Indiana State Fairgrounds. You’ll find everything from holiday home decor to specialty foods, crafts to jewelry, and antiques to toys. Santa will be making an appearance with live reindeer, there will be stages set up with theatrical dances and musical acts, and you might win big in the prize giveaways.
If you want to go shopping this week, the cost at the door is $12 per person. However, there are some ways around that price. First of all, children aged 12 and under are FREE. Seniors aged 65 and older can pay just $8 as long as they visit on Wednesday or Thursday. Plus, you can take $3 off the price if you purchase your tickets online. Finally, we’ll leave you with the hours in which the Christmas Gift & Hobby Show is open for business:
- Wed. November 5 and Thu. November 6: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Fri. November 7 and Sat. November 8: 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Sun. November 9: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
