With only three games under their belt, the Indianapolis Colts have plenty of season left to go. And as long as our Colts are playing, St. Elmo’s Steak House will be raising money for Antoine Bethea’s foundation. A defensive stalwart for several years already, Bethea sees beyond the field and has been giving back to the community through his Safe Coverage Foundation. Safe Coverage is dedicated to providing access and resources for students in our community in order to see them achieve their dreams of higher education.
So, where does St. Elmo’s, an iconic Downtown restaurant famed for its shrimp cocktail, fit in to this fundraiser? Between now and the end of the Colts season, they will donate $2 to the Safe Coverage Foundation each time someone orders the Colts blue and white bread pudding for dessert. So if you or anyone you know plans to enjoy the delicacies on the menu at St. Elmo’s, remember to finish the meal with this dessert that gives back to kids in our community.
