Reading a book qualifies as one of the simplest joys in life. Provided that you know how to read and have just a little bit of imagination, a book can take you to places you’ve never visited and paint a vivid picture of a fascinating story. Encouraging kids to read should be a high priority, if for no other reason than showing them an incredibly fun way to learn about the world. And that is exactly the motivation behind the Book Blast this weekend.
If you bring your child to Greenwood Park Mall from noon to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, they can take part in the Simon Kidgits Club Book Blast. This Book Blast is a fun-packed two hours of celebrating stories and the joy of reading. The only stipulation is that you need to be a member of the Simon Kidgits Club. You can follow our link and sign up for an annual membership for just $5 per child. Each child will receive a FREE t-shirt (which alone should cover the cost of the membership) and you’ll receive access to entertaining events and prizes throughout the year (including the Book Blasts like this weekend).
If you’re on the fence about the Book Blast, think back to your childhood and your favorite story growing up. Some of these books are satisfactory enough to stick with us throughout our lives, and your kids can enjoy those same experiences if they attend the Book Blast. See you at Greenwood Park Mall this Saturday.
