Quick, while it’s still warmer now that it will be tomorrow, get out of the house. If you aren’t headed to our city’s free celebrations, then shopping is never a wrong move. Particularly if it means you buy something you need ( or want but have been putting off) at a discount. These are the deals we’ve found:
Banana Republic: Take 40% off your entire purchase including full price and sale items. Of course, some restrictions may apply, but the sales staff will no doubt be happy to walk you through that.
Linden Tree on Noblesville’s Main Streed is offering 40% off home decor, and this sale lasts through January 26, so you can shop there all week.
Andrews Jewelers is also offering a friends and family event through January 26. Their Facebook ad says you need to make an appointment, and the deal is on collections, but it doesn’t say how much the discount is. So this one is pretty much for those in the market for jewelry more than lookie-loos.
Uno: Kids eat free on MLK Day with each adult entree order. And then again tomorrow, as they always do on Tuesdays.
And then there are the consignment stores, who are making the most of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday:
Carmel Consignment: Mention you heard about their email marketing ad and take 20% off all regular priced coats, boots, sweters, pants and jeans. What’s left? the 10% on sale items.
DMR Men’s Consignment will take 20% off all regularly priced winter items, and another 10% off sale winter items. Again, tell them you know about their email marketing campaign.
THE district eXchange: Same as Carmel Consignment with clothing for teens. And let’s face it, winter isn’t over yet, so another sweater is a great idea. Mention the email campaign.
Amanda’s City-Chic Consignment: Take 20% off all regularly priced linens, artwork, lamps and picture frames, and another 10% off on any sale item. Yep, mention the email marketing campaign!

Off the Hanger Consignment: Everything in the store is marked down 15 to 75% when the doors open at 10 am.
Selective Seconds, because they’re tired of the cold, too, have marked everything in the store down by 20% through Saturday, January 25.
