This week, you have the opportunity to indulge in a whimsical blast from the past. The Royal Theater in Danville has been open to the public since 1927. You can still enjoy current movies there today at nostalgic prices. They also provide live music, but the deal we want to let you know about this week falls in a third category – a classic movie.
At 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, the Royal Theater is showing ET The Extraterrestrial. The event is sponsored by Danville Kiwanis and Hackleman Auto. You can watch Steven Spielberg’s 1982 classic film about the lovable alien on the big screen again. Best of all, you can pay the kind of price you expected the first time you saw the film. Movie tickets cost just $5 for adults, $3 for kids aged 3-11, and are FREE for kids under that age.
We hope that when your Christmas celebrations are drawing to a close and you are looking for entertainment before New Years parties, you will remember Danville. Watching ET The Extraterrestrial will provide fun for the whole family during this time of the year when everyone is together.
