One of the biggest effects of having an exciting team in the Indianapolis Colts is that our team tends to be featured prominently in the prime-time slots. We’ve made the playoffs each of the past two years, and we’re known for coming from behind at the end of games for the win. Do you know what is even cooler than watching Andrew Luck and Reggie Wayne execute brilliant touchdowns from your couch at night? Watching them pull off these exciting touchdowns on some of the biggest screens in town. That’s what awaits you after dark at Tibbs Drive-in Theatre.
Seeing as the Colts have several night games this year, Tibbs Drive-in Theatre is using its huge outdoor screens to show the games with their own tailgate parties. For every night game the Colts play, the gates will open at 7:30 p.m. at Tibbs. Watching the game is FREE in and of itself, but Tibbs will be charging you at the gate for two hot dogs, a large soda, and a large popcorn. It’s a $14.90 value per person, and children aged 17 or younger won’t be charged in the same cars as adults.
Here are the list of Colts night games this season in which you can watch the theatrics on a screen befitting our team (all of them begin at approximately 8:30 p.m.):
- Monday September 15 vs. the Eagles
- Thursday October 9 at the Texans
- Monday November 3 at the Giants
- Sunday November 16 vs. the Patriots
