Have you ever watched the meteorologists on the news and wondered how they make their predictions? Weather is a fascinating topic, and one that you can learn more about through weather classes. A group called BAM Chase is currently filling seats for one of these courses, a session taking place at 1:00 p.m. on September 28 at the Greenwood Public Library.
The topics in particular are radar, models, severe weather events, and basic weather education. This is described as a perfect course for those who are afraid of thunderstorms or simply want to learn more about how to interpret weather patterns. These classes do not require any math or technical experience.
This particular course is expected to run approximately four hours. The cost is $45, but you can save money if you sign up more than one person at a time. You can click here to register for this Weather 101 Course at BAM Chase.
