When you’re talking about fast food hamburgers, it always seems to come back to the two main rivals. The fast food equivalent of Coke vs. Pepsi and IU vs. Purdue is these two champions of capitalism. We’re referring, of course, to McDonald’s and Fries King. Whoa, wait a minute. Fries King? That’s actually not a typo, even though most know them as Burger King.
Burger King has recently unveiled a new option of french fries that they are calling Satisfries. To their credit, Burger King is pulling out all the stops to make sure consumers everywhere know about these fries. The marketing campaign began by temporarily pretending to change the business name to Fries King (a change that some of the more gullible consumers believed was permanent). We think everyone will enjoy the second strategy even more – FREE Satisfries for everyone.
Head in to your nearest Burger King/Fries King/Whatever you want to call them on Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13 to enjoy a FREE value-sized Satisfries (normally valued at $1.29). You won’t need any coupons, special IDs, or certifications. There are no strings attached, other than each guest being limited to one helping. What makes Satisfries different from the normal Burger King fries (besides the crinkle-cut look) is that they have 30% less fat and 20% fewer calories. We aren’t sure whether you will enjoy the taste more or less than the normal fries, but you can’t beat FREE.
