If you’re a fan of cookouts, you’re going to want to mark your calendars for a fun event coming up this week. You are cordially invited to join Marsh Supermarkets and Boy Scouts of America at the 23rd Annual Cookout on the Circle on Thursday ,June 19. And lest there be any confusion about which “circle” we’re referring to, this awesome event takes place at Monument Circle.
If you attend the Cookout on the Circle from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, you can enjoy your choice of either grilled chicken breast or bratwurst. Either entree is accompanied by potato salad, a banana, a cookie, and a drink. The proceeds of this fun event benefit Boy Scouts of America and help make it possible to send hundreds of scouts to local camps and adventures.
If you buy tickets at the gate, you’ll pay $7 to attend the Cookout on the Circle. Because you’re a Cheapster and you’re reading this post at Indy on the Cheap, however, you know there’s a cheaper way to go. Advance sale tickets are available at select Indianapolis Metro Marsh Supermarket locations for only $6 apiece. So, if you want to save a buck on Thursday’s lunch, take a trip to Marsh between now and then.
Finally, you would’ve seen this cookout coming in advance on our Summer Festivals post. For advance notice of plenty of other upcoming festivals, we encourage you to click the blue type in the last sentence and check it out.
