Registration for Hoosier Outdoor Experience is open

Register now to enjoy the Great Outdoors next month.

August may finally be heating up, but the past couple weeks were more reminiscent of late September. So it’s no surprise that registration is now open for an annual event you won’t want to miss if you enjoy spending time outdoors. We’re referring to the Ford Hoosier Outdoor Experience taking place September 21 and 22.

The Hoosier Outdoor Experience is presented by the Department of Natural Resources and the Indiana Natural Resources Foundation. It is Indiana’s largest hands-on outdoor recreation event, held on the grounds of Fort Harrison State Park. Should you attend, you will find more than 50 activities and 120 grassroots partners. You can take part in fishing, riding in off-road vehicles, canoeing, and far more. As if you needed an extra reason to register for the Hoosier Outdoor Experience, it’s completely FREE to participate.

You can click here to register either to attend or to volunteer. The Hoosier Outdoor Experience is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. both Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22 and is open to both adults and children.
