The largest annual fundraiser for the Humane Society of Indianapolis is Mutt Strut 2014. Indy Humane serves thousands of animals every year, each of which require an average of $700 in care. Even without doing all the math, you can see why fundraisers like Mutt Strut are extremely important. If you want to know a way you can help all these animals in our community while also enjoying a fun day yourself, you should join Brewery Tours in March.
Specifically, the tour we’re referring to takes place on Wednesday, March 12. That may seem like quite a bit of time away, but we know March fills up quickly with Easter and Spring Break plans. If you plan for it now, however, Brewery Tours is an awesome way to spend an evening. The tour starts and ends at Simon Property Group at 225 West Washington Street and lasts from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. You’ll enjoy transportation to and from four local breweries (Flat 12, Bier Brewery, Fountain Square, and Indiana City Beer), 15-20 samples of local beer, bottles of water on the bus, and a swag bag with a pint glass, koozie, coaster, and more.
Of course, you may be wondering what this has to do with Mutt Strut. Brewery Tours is donating half of the money raised from this expedition to Mutt Strut 2014. The cost for your evening touring all four of those breweries is just $30, half of which will go towards the welfare of our community’s animals. Click here to sign up today before your calendar completely fills up for March, and we’ll see you at the breweries.
