It always seems like a bit of a letdown when Halloween falls in the middle of the week. Everyone still has to go to bed at a decent time and then go back to work or school the next day. Unfortunately, this is one of those years when Halloween night is on a Wednesday. The good news is that you can still have a festive time and celebrate the fall season the weekend before up in Zionsville. Lion’s Park is holding a FREE event called Pumpkins and Hayrides from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday October 28. The title pretty much summarizes the sort of things you’ll find at this event, but we’ll give you a list of what all to expect:
- FREE pumpkins to paint while quantities last
- FREE hayrides
- Games, food, and other fun activities
- The Annual Lion Costume Contest in the gazebo, starting at 4:00 p.m.
Lion’s Park is located at 115 South Elm Street in Zionsville. If your plans “fall” together with ours, we’ll see you on the hayride.
