The musical Wicked: The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz premiered on Broadway in May of 2003. Ever since then, the show has sold out on stages across the country and beyond. Finding tickets to see Wicked tends to be difficult and pricy due to the show’s popularity. While we can’t promise you a big discount, we know of a way you can grab tickets for the next time Wicked comes to Indy before all the tickets sell out.
Wicked is a musical told from the perspective of the witches of the Land of Oz. The plot begins before and continues after Dorothy’s arrival in Oz, and works as a parallel story to the Wizard of Oz we all fondly remember. While the story is creative, what truly makes Wicked exceptional is the music. Wicked has broken box office records around the world thanks to memorable songs like “The Wizard and I,” “Dancing Through Life,” Popular,” and of course, “Defying Gravity.”
Wicked will be here at the Old National Centre from November 13 through December 1. The general public will have access to tickets to see Wicked starting Thursday, September 12. We guarantee that tickets will sell out rapidly when that day arrives, but you can buy tickets now through a priority offer. The tickets are available on Ticketmaster, but remember to use the password ELPHABA. Finally, we want to reiterate that we don’t know the price on these tickets or whether they are a great deal. We just wanted to let you know of an opportunity to obtain them before they sell out from popular demand.
