*Update for September 12: Early bird prices are available for one more week. If you want to attend this event on the cheap, we suggest you purchase tickets soon.*
We can already hear the clamoring from all the lords and ladies from the Kingdom of Indianapolis, telling us to hold our horses. The Fishers Renaissance Faire doesn’t take place this year until the first weekend in October (Saturday, October 4 and Sunday October 5, to be exact). So, why are we already rushing to the printing press and telling you all about it? Plain and simple – tickets to the Fishers Renaissance Faire sell out quickly.
At least, that’s one reason. The other reason (as if you couldn’t guess this based on the fact that you’re reading it at Indy on the Cheap) is that early bird prices are available now. You can take advantage of the new policy in which you can print your advance tickets at home and bring them with you to avoid standing in line at the gates. You can visit the Fishers Renaissance Faire website to purchase your tickets on the cheap as long as you take advantage of the early bird prices between now and Saturday, September 20). During this early bird period, adult single day passes are only $10, children are $4, and infants are always FREE.
If you purchase your tickets now, you’ll be guaranteed entry to experience the Golden Age of Queen Elizabeth I. You’ll find over 250 costumed characters jousting, singing madrigal music, holding knighting ceremonies, and many more activities. This year is the 10th anniversary of the Renaissance Faire, so it’s going to be an extra special occasion for everyone.
You can either print out your tickets or send them to your email, as either way will work at the gate. It doesn’t matter whether you buy a Saturday or Sunday ticket, as either works for either day. If you want to attend both days, just buy two of the passes. Once you’ve bought your passes, you can start looking forward to attending a tribute to one of the most fascinating time periods in human history.
