With September over halfway finished, we know the more diligent planners among our Cheapsters are pulling out the calendars and highlighting specific dates in October and beyond. While you already have the calendar out, we want to let you know about an event coming up in a month at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The event is Indy FamilyFest, and you can buy early bird tickets at a discount now.
FamilyFest lasts from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19. If the title didn’t make the theme apparent to you, the goal of this event is to provide valuable information and the latest and greatest products and and services geared toward Indianapolis’ families. The keynote speaker for the event is Mary Susan Bruhner giving a presentation called “Mommy Magic.” In addition, you can look forward to various forms of live entertainment, relaxation lounges for parents, superhero parties for younger kids, popcorn and a disco area for older kids, and much more.
You can check out the full schedule of events by clicking here, but we want to draw your attention specifically to the early bird discount on tickets. While you can buy tickets at the door, you’ll save money (and time) by purchasing them online. The early bird prices are as follows:
- Adult Admission: $5
- Children (3-12): $2 (kids aged two and under are FREE)
- Family Four Pack (two adults and two kids): $12
