The Harrison Center for the Arts, an institution within the IUPUI Arts and Humanities, invites you to pitch your idea to Connect Your City. Connect Your City is a contest designed to bolster community building and find innovations here in central Indiana. It’s FREE to join – all you need is an idea.
The contest is a 5X5 event in which five applicants will be selected to present an innovative idea involving the arts and the urban neighborhoods here in Indianapolis. You’ll have five minutes to present five slides describing how you would Connect Your City by going directly to these neighborhoods. It may seem like a fair bit of work, but the winning project will receive $10,000 to execute their idea. Not only will you play in role in truly connecting your city in innovative ways that haven’t been thought of before, but you’ll have a massive item to add to your resume.
Connect Your City is FREE to attend, and the historic sanctuary at the Harrison Center for the Arts will play host to the contest at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, September 6. To be a part of the contest, however, you’ll need to submit your project application by Wednesday, July 31. Click here to download a submission form.
