Following a successful inaugural event in June, the Indianapolis Indians are holding a second Bark in the Park game starting at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, August 27 against the Louisville Bats. Bark in the Park is a special opportunity for you to watch the Indians play with your dog at your side. If you think your family (er, including the canine member of the family) would enjoy this, we encourage you to purchase tickets before they’re gone.
Of course, there are a few ground rules for dogs at Bark in the Park. For example, all dogs in attendance must be at least six months of age and friendly toward other dogs. Furthermore, all furry attendees need to have received the following vaccinations:
- Rabies
- DHLP (which stands for Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Para influenza)
- Parvo
- Bordatella
Assuming your pup passes that set of requirements, you’ll need to do two things to attend Bark in the Park. First of all, you need to order tickets. Just click our link in the next line to take care of that:
Once you’ve confirmed your purchase, your tickets will be mailed to you. You’ll also receive number two on your list of requirements, which is a waiver you must complete and sign. Be aware that you must purchase at least one human ticket with each canine ticket. The dog package costs $20, and you’ll be able to browse the pet expo while you’re at the game. Tickets are selling quickly for Bark in the Park, so make sure to purchase yours quickly before they’re all gone.
