Boomer has a gift for you
In preparation for Thursday night’s Game 5 matchup of the Eastern Conference Finals with the Miami Heat in South Florida, the Indiana Pacers have announced some special activities for its fans.
Game day will begin with another “Playoff Rally Alley” after last week’s successful initial venture. Pacers fans are encouraged to drive their own car from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. through Bankers Life Court, just north of Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Pennsylvania St., and receive a host of goodies. Included among the giveaways are a Pacers tee shirt, “Beat the Heat” beads, dog biscuits, cheer cards, “Beat the Heat” ice-cold Blue & Gold Gatorade, and a commemorative “Gold Swagger” Pacers Eastern Conference Finals car magnet.
That’s some serious swag.
Shirts and car magnets are limited to the first 200 cars. Pedestrians are welcome to attend and those on hand will receive some special gifts.
The Pacers “Playoff Rally Alley” will also feature live music from the Pacers Pep Band, balloons, the Pacemates and Boomer. The Pacers playoffs are presented by Key Bank, Kroger and Simon Malls.
