Since getting its start in Indy back in April, the Pacers BikeShare has seen its fair share of bike riders. The BikeShare features 250 bikes transitioning between 25 stations around Indy. If you need to commute and want to log some exercise along the way, you can use one of these bikes in approximately half-hour increments. You can choose from a daily pass or a more annual BikeShare plan, and it’s simple to use from there.
In case you were wondering how popular this program has been since April, the Pacers BikeShare is inviting you to join them at Flat 12 Bierwerks to celebrate 50,000 rides. The party lasts from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, and Flat 12 is located at 414 Dorman Street in Indy. If you attend, you can look forward to Flat12 beer and food, as well as good music and company. Finally, keep in mind that it pays to arrive early for this particular afternoon event. The first 50 people through the doors will get FREE swag bags.
