The Night before the 500 is a party all its own

You don’t have to be from around here to know that the Indianapolis 500 is this weekend. The greatest spectacle in racing will captivate the attention of far more than just our Cheapsters this Sunday, but the Indy 500 isn’t the only racing attraction taking place this Memorial Day Weekend. Another fine tradition is the Visit Hendricks County Night Before the 500, and we can save you money on your tickets.

This will be the 69th Annual Night Before the 500 event, and it’s taking place at Lucas Oil Raceway. Formerly known as Indianapolis Raceway Park, Lucas Oil Raceway is located at 10267 East US Highway 136. You can watch the USAC Midget Series, Pro Mazda, and USF2000 races the night before the 500 takes center stage. Plus, tickets to this set of races are much cheaper than the Indy 500. The races will start in the afternoon/evening, and regular-price tickets cost $25. However, you can click here to order tickets at $5 off (keep in mind that kids 12 and under are FREE).
