Most die-hard sports fans out there have heard of Mike and Mike in the Morning. Mike Greenberg makes up half of that ESPN talk show (Mike Golic is the other half). Known as the gentler and more intellectual half of the show, Greenberg recently published a new book entitled All You Could Ask For. For all interested Cheapsters, you have the opportunity to meet Mike Greenberg this weekend.
While the Final Four begins in Atlanta, Mike Greenberg will be signing copies of his new book at the Barnes & Noble in Carmel (located at 14709 US Highway 31 North). You can have your copy signed starting at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6. This opportunity should speak for itself for sports fans. For those of you Cheapsters who aren’t as in to sports, however, it might interest you to know that these pages aren’t just about sports. It also covers friendship and relationships, and in particular makes reference to his wife and her friends as they supported a friend named Heidi Armitage who passed away after a battle with breast cancer.
Mike Greenberg will be donating all the proceeds from the sale of his book to the V Foundation for Cancer Research. In that way, even Cheapsters who couldn’t differentiate Mike Greenberg from Mike Golic or any other Mike off the street can still support a great cause by purchasing the book. Plus, a signed copy would make a great gift for the sports lover in your extended family.
