Are you looking for something a little bit different to do this weekend before the traditional festivities associated with the holidays arrive? The Indiana State Fairgrounds will be taking a walk on the wild side this weekend. From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday November 11, the Southwest Pavilion (located at 1202 East 38th Street in Indianapolis) will host the Midwest Reptile Show. You’ll see everything from snakes and geckos to frogs and turtles, and you can likely expect to see approximately 50 vendors in attendance.
This is a perfect place to take your kids, as children aged eight and under have FREE admission. Anyone nine years or older will pay $5 for entrance, but it’s still a cheaper day of entertainment than the zoo.
Finally, attending the Reptile Show also allows you the chance to win one of the two awesome door prizes up for grabs. Both are terrariums with lighting. One is tropical-themed while the other is desert-themed. Both are worth at least $250 retail.
