You’ve been well trained in acting courteous and excited. So when your relative gave you a brand new tablet or Kindle for Christmas, you were incredibly gracious and appreciative. It wasn’t the time to admit you weren’t sure how to get the most enjoyment out of this new technology. It was the time to smile, say thank you, and share the warm glow of the holidays with your family and friends.
Now that December has passed and we’re a third of the way through January, the time has come to pull out that Kindle or iPad and figure out all its high-tech secrets. If you’d like some help, however, please drop by the eBook Tinker Station within the Irvington Branch Library this weekend. This group of eReader experts travels around to different libraries to answer questions about equipment like the various types of Kindle.
From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, Irvington will be their home base. There are no silly questions, and these experts are well-equipped to handle whatever you throw at them (though we must advise you not to physically throw your new tablet, even if you think that might help your frustration).
