Ladies Night at Crackers
Did you know that the study of laughter has a name? It’s gelotology – no joke.
Gelotologists study laughter, gathering data on matters such as how our brains induce us to laugh, how often we laugh, and the health benefits of laughing. These gelotologists would likely have a field day at either of the two Crackers Comedy Club locations in Indianapolis. You can visit the Broad Ripple Location (6281 N. College Avenue) or the Downtown Location (247 S. Meridian Street), and both will offer a deal known as Ladies Night every Wednesday.
All you have to do is call the club for reservations (the number is 317-255-4211) and let them know that you would love to visit for FREE admission, and the staff at Crackers will have your tickets waiting for you. Just be aware that you must purchase a minimum of two drinks per person once inside.
You can bring your gentlemen along with you for $8 admission, but you and your girlfriends may prefer to take these opportunities to have a great time among yourselves. The Broad Ripple location has many professional entertainers scheduled throughout the month of September, including Brad Williams, Keith Alberstadt, Carlos Mencia, and Bob Zany. Meanwhile, the Downtown Location will play host to Tommy Blaze, Michael Loftus, and Ari Shaffir. Regardless of which location you visit, you and your fellow ladies will enjoy a fun Wednesday night out on the town. And remember, a laugh a day keeps the doctor away – or so the gelotologists tell us.
