Kings Island is a mere two-hour drive from Indy to Cincinnati. We know of a couple ways for you to save on prices at the gate. The front gate price at Kings Island is almost $60 per ticket. If you don’t want to pay that price, you have a few options. The first is to invest in a Gold Pass.
The second option is to purchase your daily passes ahead of time online. They will post a variety of deals on their website, which you can reach at this link:
Right now, you can purchase tickets for just $33.99 (though that particular promotion expires at the end of this weekend, and we aren’t yet sure what will take its place). Additionally, you’ll be able to purchase two days for the price of one, tickets for juniors and seniors, combo tickets that will get you into both Kings Island and Cedar Point in Sandusky, and more. We encourage you to check out the available offers and decide which one makes the most sense for you.
Another option involves Kroger grocery stores. This one is a bit hit-and-miss, because not all Kroger locations sell discounted Kings Island tickets. We recommend you call ahead to your particular Kroger location, as some have offered tickets for as low as $32 per ticket. Whichever route you take, we hope you’ll be able to ride the Beast, the Racer, and Banshee on the cheap this season.
