You may not have heard of Jude Odell, but odds aren’t bad that you’ve seen some of her work if you’ve spent time in public places. Jude is an Indianapolis ceramics artist, as well as a musician. Unfortunately, Jude developed health concerns earlier this year, and many in the Indianapolis creative community have rallied to organize several fundraising events to help replace her lost income and cover her medical expenses. One of those fundraising events is Jude Fest.
Jude Fest is taking place tomorrow (Saturday, June 15) at the Irving Theater, which is located at 5505 E. Washington Street. You can stop by and enjoy live music from 17 great bands throughout the day, as Jude Fest lasts from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Between acts, you can also check out the silent auction items. Jude Fest is FREE to attend, though a $10 donation is suggested to help make this day a success in raising money for our local artist. If you’d like to acquaint yourself with the artwork Jude Odell has crafted, click here to check out her website.
Finally, here are some of the bands schedule to perform for Jude Fest:
