We’re coming up on that special time that only happens once every couple of years. The Olympics are about to return, this time for the winter games in Sochi, Russia. Our US Olympic team is traveling to the other side of the world, and could use some inspiration from those of us back home. If you want to cheer our men and women athletes to win gold, just remember the golden arches of McDonalds.
If you click here, you can cheer on an individual athlete or a team. McDonalds will place all your cheers on display in the Athletes Village during the Olympic Games. Olympians can print and wear their favorite cheers on ribbons, and they may even respond to you. McDonalds is no stranger to cheering on the stars and stripes, as they were airlifting hamburgers to our athletes back in 1968. They became the Official Restaurant of the Olympic Games when Atlanta hosted the event in 1996. Now, more than 350 McDonalds workers will serve as the Olympic Champion Crew in Sochi.
Whether you want to cheer for Shaun White, Sasha Cohen, or the full US Hockey team, let our Americans know that you stand with them and are ready to see them top the podium in Sochi.
