There’s a reason we have amusement parks named Legoland. Legos are one of those rare types of toys that never seem to go out of fashion. If your child is within the range of kindergarten to fifth grade and considers himself or herself a Lego-building master, you should register Junior for Lego Mania at the Hancock County Library.
From 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 4, kids are welcome to take part in Lego Mania after school in the Youth Program Room at the library. The challenge will be to build the coolest Lego creation possible during the hour-long event. Kids who finish early can play board or Wii games while the others complete their creations. All the completed projects will be placed on display for the rest of the month, so you can go view your child’s Lego Mania contribution afterward.
The event is coming in just a few days, but you still have time to register if you follow our Lego Mania link above (just click the words in blue).
