Somewhat surprisingly, this is the second post of the day that involves Irvington. We might’ve combined the two into one post, but this Family Sing-Along is not being held tonight. You have a little extra time before this particular event, which might be a good thing if you don’t want to leave your house today during the bad weather.
Specifically, this event takes place at the Irvington branch of the Indianapolis Library. Whether you’re the next Michael Buble/Kelly Clarkson or someone who can’t carry a tune, you and the rest of your family are welcome at the Family Sing-Along from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, December 9. This is the first anniversary of the original Family Sing-Along, and you can look forward to singing old folk, traditional, and holiday songs. The Family Sing-Along is FREE to attend, and the more the merrier.
If you’re ready to embrace the holiday spirit but are too early for any of the extended family gatherings that all seem to pop up right around Christmas, this event can help tide you over and give you your holiday fix. Plus, with it not being until Monday, the weather may be nicer for it than it is today.
