After a record-setting week of heat, Indianapolis finally seems to be cooling down enough to look and feel like September. Because of this cool-down, it’s the perfect time for an outdoor concert. Conveniently enough, you can attend one tomorrow evening with Indy Jazz Fest holding a FREE outdoor concert on Saturday, September 14.
This FREE Indy Jazz Fest concert lasts from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Lino’s Coffee and the Dallara Indycar Factory. To be specific, the venue is 1201 Main Street in Speedway. The concert features the Farrelly Markiewicz Jazz Quartet. You are allowed to bring your own cooler, and encouraged to bring your own seating for the concert. The show begins at 7:00 p.m., but the festivities start early at 5:00 p.m. If you come early, you can enjoy bocce ball, cornhole, Italian wines, and motorsports artwork. The Bier Brewery will even be providing local craft beer.
This Indy Jazz Fest event is sponsored by the Greater Speedway Area Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Dallara Factory and Lino’s Coffee.
