Taking a big world and condensing it into the Fairgrounds
It can be fun and educational to broaden your horizons every now and then. The most literal way to accomplish this is to actually travel to a foreign land and immerse yourself in a new culture. The reason a site like Indianapolis On The Cheap exists, however, is that most of us can’t afford to simply travel the world as we please. For that reason, the Indy International Festival is a compelling substitute that will still broaden your horizons without emptying your child’s college fund.
This weekend, the Indy International Festival will take place at the West Pavilion of the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Admission for kids aged 6-12 is only $6. You’ll pay $10 at the door for adult admission, but you can save $2 by ordering your tickets in advance. Follow the above link to save a couple bucks on this event. - Friday November 16: 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Saturday November 17: 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday November 18: Noon to 6:00 p.m.
The Indy International Festival is Indy’s oldest and largest pan-ethnic celebration.
